A simple chat that took me from one corner to Collins Corner
Once I was looking for one of my connections to speak about an incident that made me sad, very coincidentally I met another person. And with no reason, I talked to him about what I was going to talk to my known connection or a friend of mine. This stranger was somebody who just got connected recently, there was no hi how are you kind of formality. I just talked to him and he talked back and my problem was instantly fixed. I was happy and realized that I have got one more connection from LinkedIn that is worthy to be.
Sometimes all we need is a person who listens to us. Listens what we say and even without understanding says that “okay, I get it”, “It is fine, you can come over it”. Those words are very powerful. Talking more with this person and looking into his profile made me feel that he had a lot more to say. Because he was the rare kind of guy who dropped MBBS after four long years into that course and pursued his dream course of Literature. He was somebody who walks against the flock, who fixes his downs by himself, and from what I have known a person who doesn’t rely on others to accomplish his dreams.
